Wednesday Nights Prayer Meeting
by Esther Sianipar
This
year's Lent Season, God has tested and still testing my faith and my
loyalty toward HIM that
I have never felt before in my life. It is remarkable to watch HIS
power and HIS words
commanding me to seek and to love HIM more and more. God has opened my eyes
and my heart so that I may have a close, intimate spiritual relationship with
our God, Jesus Christ that I have been yearning for. He is truly a previous
God and truly a loving God. Throughout Lent Seasons, God answered my prayers
regardless of the pain and the anger that was facing by HIS answers. God
did save me from the time of trail! It was a truly blessed experience to watch
HIM working through me and inviting me to be near HIM. Prayer is a wonderful
spiritual meditation and a moment for all of us to have a personal conversation
with God. I invite you to attend our informal prayer service every Wednesday
nights from 5:30pm - 6:30pm in our sanctuary. The format of our prayer meeting
is flexible. All prayers are confidential. If you cannot attend the prayer
meeting and you would like us to pray for you, please see or email Pastor Gary
at pastor@ulctempe.org
I would
like to share with you Psalms 63 from our worship book, Lutheran Book
of Worship:
"O God, you are my God; eagerly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you,
my flesh faints for you, as in a barren and dry land where there is
no water. So will I bless you as long as I live and lift up my hands
in your name. For you have been my helper, and under the shadow of
your wings I will rejoice. My soul clings to you, your right hand holds
me fast."
God's peace upon all of you,
Esther Sianipar
